Ashcraft & Associates, Inc. provides management consulting services to businesses and non-profit organizations, a customized educational course, Managementship©, for universities and technology transfer through an affiliation with the Institute of Paper Science and Technology.

Management consulting services include motivational speaking, customized training (project management, supply chain management, principled leading, development of strategy, and the development of a seamless management system,) third party facilitation, and the application of management and leadership processes in the development of strategic business plans. Recent clients include Fisher-Rosemount, Scallon Controls, Buckman Laboratories, NovaSpeck, Deep East Texas Council of Governments and Innotech,

Executive-in-Residence The Executive-in-Residence is a non academic appointment in the College of Forest Resources. Responsibilities in teaching (Internet and in-class,) developing industry contacts and participating in Strategic Planning activities.

University of Virginia January 1998 – May 1998

                    Halsey Distinguished Visiting Professor. 

The Halsey Distinguished Professorship is a one-semester appointment in the College of Engineering at the University of Virginia. The primary responsibility is teach a senior level class on "The Aspects of Engineering Practice" and to be a practical resource for the faculty.

          Lamar University January 1997 - January 1998

                    Executive-in-Residence

The Executive-in-Residence is a new position in the College of Engineering at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Responsibilities include teaching in the engineering and business departments, serving as a liaison with the business community in Southeast Texas, and recruiting international students, business development and project management.

Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive is a liaison between the Institute and a specific member company. The goal of the Business Development program is to improve the efficiency of technology transfer between the Institute and the member company.

OIT Lead Person 1999-present

The OIT Lead Person is the primary contact between the Institute of Paper Science and Technology and the Office of Industrial Technology, Department of Energy. The OIT-DOE has a contract with IPST to make member companies aware of Best Practices and emerging technologies in areas of energy and the environment.
